Architectural finishes
Mineral surfaces applied by hand, in multiple passes, so the wall holds light the way a plastered wall is supposed to — with movement in it rather than a flat coat of colour.
What it is
Lime- and mineral-based finishes: Roman clay, limewash, Marmorino and Venetian plasters, and microcement where a seamless surface is wanted. They are troweled on rather than rolled, which is why they read as depth instead of paint, and why no two walls come out identical.
Where it suits
A single feature wall that anchors a room; a whole interior held in one tone; a storefront or restaurant that has to look hand-made and survive a hundred people a day. Substrate and traffic decide the system and the top coat, not taste alone.
How it goes on
Samples in your space first, looked at in your own light morning and evening. Then substrate preparation and priming, base coats, finish coats burnished by hand, and a protective seal chosen for the room.
